Nick Jopling

Nick is an Industry Adviser to Time Partners. Nick is currently Founder and Director of Square House Consultancy, which draws on his 20 years of operational and strategic leadership in the global residential property market to service senior advisory positions.  

Until 2017, Nick was the Property Director of FTSE 250 Grainger Plc, where he drove its transformation from a 104-year-old trading company to the UK’s largest listed residential investment business, delivering new homes through innovative private-public initiatives. Prior to this he was Executive Director at CBRE and held senior roles at Allsop and T M Jopling and partners. In 2012 he was appointed by the Coalition Government to the Montague Review seen by many as the pivotal report to attract Institutional money into the U.K. residential sector. 

Nick’s land and housing expertise has seen him collaborate extensively with national and local government to shape new housing policy – including as a member of the Mayor of London’s 2010 Housing Task Force – and contribute to industry best practice guidelines. In 2012, Nick was awarded Emeritus Fellowship of RICS. He is a regular public speaker.
