Soroosh is an Industry Adviser to Time Partners. Soroosh started his career in finance at Bankers Trust in New York, before moving to Goldman Sachs’ Fixed Income Arbitrage Group. At Nomura International, he turned his attention to Emerging Markets and then became Global co-Head of Sales and Trading at Renaissance Capital in Moscow.

Prior to that, Soroosh made his mark in academia, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from Occidental College (summa cum laude), Masters of Science and Philosophy degrees from Yale University and a PhD from Harvard University. His PhD work, under the supervision of Professor Stuart Schreiber, covered the total synthesis of Epoxydictymene, design of Targeted Inhibitors for HLA-B27 and the structural properties of Silyl Ethers. A native of Tehran, he currently divides his time between Geneva, London and Los Angeles.
