Alistair Conner

Deputy CEO

Alistair joined Time Partners as Deputy Chief Executive in January 2024. Alistair’s career began with the Royal Air Force in 1991 as the holder of a university cadetship, before serving operationally and then as an instructor on the Tornado F3. He left the RAF in 2004 to take up a strategic consultancy role with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, before joining UBS in 2006. Leadership roles in client strategy, sales, marketing, and organisational change management led to his appointment in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer of UBS’ UK Wealth Management business, before being promoted to Managing Director the following year. He joined Credit Suisse in 2019, where he was a PRA-regulated Senior Manager and an Executive Director on the Board of CS UK (Ltd). In 2021, as lead strategic wealth management consultant, he advised the Bank of Ireland Group during their acquisition of Davy, Ireland’s largest wealth manager. He completed a Diploma in Company Direction at the Institute of Directors in 2022, with a particular focus on organisational effectiveness and commercial leadership.

Alistair holds a degree in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of St Andrews and is a graduate of the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell. He is a non-executive director of the UK National Audit Office and has been a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society since 2003. An enthusiastic fan of the outdoors, he enjoyed a 12-month secondment in 1995 to the youth development charity, Raleigh International, in southern Chile.
