Katherine is a Director of Time Partners. Katherine Elizabeth Fleming is the President and CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust, the world’s wealthiest art institution. She oversees its 1400 employees and 9.2bn$ in invested endowment, and is responsible for strategy across its programs.

From 2016-2022, she was the Provost of New York University (NYU), the largest private university in the United States, where she was responsible for allocating financial resources of 3.8bn$ annually in support of strategic and academic priorities and where she holds the Alexander S. Onassis Chair in the NYU Department of History. From 2012-2016 she was President of the Board of the University of Piraeus, Greece.

She is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Chevalier in the French Legion of Honor, a Commander in the French Order of Arts & of Letters, and holds the Silver Cross in the Greek Order of Beneficence.
